Bolivar, Mo. - Southwest Baptist will open the season against Newman University at Plaster Stadium. Stefan Skillman will be starting his first season as head coach of the Lady Bearcats. Newman is going into the MIAA conference this year coming off of a season that ended in the semifinals of the Heartland conference tournament. SBU is now a full-time member of the Great Lakes Valley Conference, consisting of 16 total teams.
