Bolivar, Mo. – Conference play continued Saturday as the Bearcats hosted the University of Missouri-St. Louis. After UMSL took the first two sets SBU forced a fourth set with a third set win, but fell after the fourth. The Bearcats fall to 2-12 (0-2 GLVC).
The Bearcats battled hard in the first two sets, scoring 20 and 21 points. SBU won the third set in a tight 25-23 finish, but UMSL took the fourth set to win the match, 25-16.
Rebecca Rabius gathered another 17 kills and
Makenzie Bouse added 42 assists in the loss.
Lauren Compton led the team with 4 blocks and
Kylie Talbott had 24 digs.
The next matchup is the battle between the Bearcats, as SBU travels to McKendree to play on October 4 at 7 PM.
