Rolla, Mo. – Southwest Baptist jumped out early against the Miners but couldn't pull it out in the end. This loss pushed the Bearcats record to 0-4 (0-2 GLVC) on the season.
 
Kevin Zavala helped to create an opportunity that Alan Aviles was able to finish off for the first goal and a 1-0 lead for SBU just 8 minutes into the game. Missouri S&T came back with three more goals in the first half for a 3-1 lead. Kevin Zavala scored a goal in the 76^th minute to cut into their lead. The Miners capped off the game with another goal to make the final score 4-2.
 
The Bearcats will be back in action on Sunday against Maryville at 2:30 PM.
