Afton, Okla. – The Men's Golf Team wrapped up their 2019 season with the MIAA Championship held in Oklahoma. The Bearcats took 10^th place as a team, finishing with a total score of 942 over three rounds.
 
Kerry Maguire led the team, finishing in a tie for 31^st place. He shot 73, 74, and 81 for a total of 228. Caleb Kubacek was the next Bearcat to place, coming in at a tie for 40^th, shooting 75, 82, and 78 totaling 235. Finishing in 42^nd place was Matt Chandler, scoring 83 in the first round, 76 in the second, and 77 in the final round. Wrapping up the scoring for SBU was Michael Willhite, taking 49^th place. He shot 102 in round one, 91 in round two, and 80 in round three. Matt Jowers completed the first round with a phenomenal score of 72, but couldn't play any further due to a dent one of his clubs.
