Bolivar, Mo. - Southwest Baptist found themselves in a pitching clinic against the Lions. The Bearcats fought hard but couldn't pull it out with Lindenwood taking the game with a final score of 4-3. The loss brings the Bearcats Record to 15-25 (7-19 MIAA).

Kyle Smith had a quality start, going 6 innings only allowing 1 earned run on 6 hits. Caleb Sneed drove Noah Tucker in on a single in the 5th inning. Lindenwood responded with two runs in the 6th. SBU responded when Hunter Hisky got on base and moved to second on a sacrifice by Samuel Avila and then stole third. Jackson Soule drove Hisky in on a fielder's choice and later scored on a single by Noah Tucker. Lindenwood scored one in the 8th and one in the 9th to make the final 4-3.

Sneed led the Bearcats with a 2 for 3 day including one RBI. Hunter Hisky and Noah Tucker each had one hit and one RBI to fuel the Bearcats offense. Kyle Smith, David Tongue, Matt Eleiott, and Cole Van Every combined to only allow 4 runs on 11 hits.

The final game of the series will be at 1:00 on April 20 at Dodson Field.
