Bolivar, Mo - Southwest Baptist dropped a double header on Wednesday to William Jewell. The first game ended with a final of 8-0 followed by the second game ending with a score of 4-3. These losses pushed the Bearcats record to 5-32 (2-8 MIAA).

Game One
Maddie Massanelli drew the start for the first game of the series. Nicole Horstman drew a walk in the third becoming SBU's first base runner of the game. Hunter Middleton came in to pitch in the fourth striking out two. The Cardinals won in 5 innings, 8-0.

Game Two
SBU was down early 4-1 but made a comeback bid scoring two runs in the 7th inning on Rachel Brown's single to left field scoring Paige St. Pierre and Kori Hillenburg. The Bearcats couldn't complete the comeback, falling just short 3-4.

Kori Hillenburg led the Bearcats at the plate with two hits in three at bats including a run. Rachel Brown also drove in two runs including drawing two walks. Kaylee Schmidli pitched 6 full innings only allowing 5 hits and 4 runs.

The Bearcats will be back in action on Thursday, April 11 at 1 & 3 PM at Northeastern State University.
