San Antonio, Tex. - SBU Men's tennis lost their first match of the season against top National team Hawaii Hilo with the score of 4-1.
In doubles, SBU got the lead after Senior
Raul Caballero and Freshman
Adham Gaber won on court #1. The Vulcans tied the score after winning on court #3. The doubles point came down to court number #2, the Bearcats lost a close match 7-6.
In singles, the Vulcans added their second point after winning on court #2. Sophomore
Carlos Corser gave the lonely point for the Bearcats after winning in two straight sets on court #6. Vulcans got their two points after winning in a third set on court #1 and court #3.
The Bearcats will be back in action tomorrow when they take on Hawaii Pacific in San Antonio. The game is set to start at 9:30 am.
