Bolivar, Mo. - The Bearcats faced off against Illinois-Springfield for the final home game of the year. The Bearcats were unable to get a rally going though falling to the Prairie Stars in 3 straight sets.
The Prairie Stars jumped out early but SBU made a run to close the gap to 22-18 but UIS scored the last 3 points to take the first set. In the second set Southwest Baptist kept it close once again but fell in the end 25-20. Illinois-Springfield finished off the match in the third set winning 25-13.
Sam Ibarra led the Bearcats in her final home game with 11 kills and 2 blocks.
Lexi Moon also had 9 digs for the Bearcats as well as
Makenzie Bouse contributing 30 assists to the cause.
