Rolla, Mo. – The Bearcats continued their conference play with a match against Missouri S&T Friday evening. The Miners defeated the Bearcats in three sets, pushing SBU to a 4-22 (0-10 GLVC) record.
 
In sets one and two Missouri S&T jumped out to a hot start and never looked back, taking set one 25-14 and set two 25-11. The third set started hot for SBU, scoring the first 4 points. However, the Miners bounced back and ended up taking the set 25-19. Ana Hanes led the team in digs with 12 and Makenzie Bouse added another 19 assists to her career total. Delanie Tipton led the team in 2 categories, blocks (3) and kills (5).
 
SBU continues their weekend schedule with another GLVC match against Maryville University. The match will start at 3 PM in St. Louis, Missouri.
