Kirksville, Mo. - Women's soccer trailed Truman State at halftime 1-0 but were unable to score any in the second half and fell to the Bulldogs 4-0. This pushes Southwest Baptist's record on the year to 3-7-1 (2-7 GLVC) for the season.
Truman State scored in the 26th minute but
Ashlyn Gibbs kept the Bearcats close with three saves in the first half. The Bulldogs did find the back of the goal though 3 more times in the second half to make the final 4-0.
Laura Manuel led SBU with a shot on goal in the second half.
The Bearcats will be back in action on October 18 at home against University of Indianapolis at 3:30 PM.
