Bolivar, Mo. - The Bearcats hosted their first game of the season Tuesday evening, taking on Hannibal-LaGrange. Southwest Baptist took down Hannibal-LaGrange 3-0, bringing their record to 2-7 on the year. 

The sets finished with scores of 25-21, 25-9, and 25-9 all in favor of SBU. The Bearcats trailed only a handful of times all evening. Delanie Tipton collected 10 kills and Makenzie Bouse picked up another 30 assists in the victory, both were match highs. Bailey Baumann finished with 15 digs and landed 7 aces.

The Bearcats will hit the road Friday, September 7th when they travel to Shawnee, OK to take on Arkansas Tech at 10 AM and Southeastern Oklahoma State at 4 PM.
