Fayette, IA - The Men's Soccer Team fell to Upper Iowa Friday afternoon by a score of 4-1. The loss brings the Bearcats to 1-8 (0-2 MIAA) on the season.

Upper Iowa scored their first two goals within seven minutes of the start of the match. Within two minutes, SBU roared back with a goal of their own thanks to a penalty kick from Isaiah Waddy. At the 16:22 mark, Upper Iowa made it 3-1 with another goal. Strong defense was played by both teams for the remainder of the half, leaving a 3-1 score going into halftime. 

Just over 3 minutes into the second half, Upper Iowa scored their fourth goal on the night, making it a 4-1 game. Alberto Rodriguez fired several shots not too much later, but Upper Iowa was able to make the saves. Defense was the name of the game for the remainder of the half, finishing with a final score of 4-1 in favor of Upper Iowa.
