Bolivar, Mo. - The Bearcat Volleyball team fell to Northwest Missouri State 3 sets to 1. SBU's record goes to 4-14 (0-5 MIAA) on the season.

Northwest won a close first set 25-21, and also took the second set 25-15. SBU took the third set by a score of 25-19, breaking Northwest's streak of 23 consecutive sets won. Southwest Baptist battled hard in the final set, but couldn't come out on top, falling 25-17. Dana Neal was very close to a double-double, collecting 12 kills and 9 digs. Kalyn Bitner and Delanie Tipton both finished with 5 blocks, and Greysen Roster also collected 4 blocks. Makenzie Bouse finished the night with a double-double, making 27 assists and 14 digs.

The Bearcats return to action Friday, September 28 at 6 PM, hosting Lindenwood University.
