Pittsburgh, Kan. - The Volleyball Team fell short in their match against Pitt State Saturday afternoon, 3-1. SBU moves to 4-11 (0-2 MIAA) on the season.
Pitt State won the first two sets by scores of 25-11 and 25-15. Southwest Baptist battled hard and won the third set 29-27, but the Gorillas took the fourth set 25-21.
Delanie Tipton had a solid outing, collecting 10 kills and 6 blocks.
Makenzie Bouse again led the assists column for the Bearcats with 29, and
Dana Neal had the most digs on SBU's side with 12.
The Bearcats begin a long home stand starting Tuesday, September 18 at 6 PM when SBU hosts MSSU.
