Bolivar, Mo. - The Bearcat Volleyball Team traveled to Arkadelphia, AR to take on Mississippi College and Ouachita Baptist University Friday afternoon. Southwest Baptist battled hard but was unable to defeat either team, giving the Bearcats an 0-6 record on the season.

In the first game of the afternoon, SBU took on Mississippi College. The Choctaws took all 3 sets, the first by a score of 25-23, the second 25-14, and the third 25-17. Makenzie Bouse finished the match with 22 assists and Bailey Baumann collected 12 digs. 

SBU battled Ouachita Baptist for the second game of the afternoon, the Tigers taking all 3 sets by scores of 25-14, 25-18, 25-22. Delanie Tipton collected 7 kills and Bailey Baumann collected another 9 digs. Makenzie Bouse led the assists column for the Bearcats with twenty two. 

The Bearcat Volleyball Team will be back in action Saturday, September 1st taking on Henderson State at 12 PM and Union University (Tennessee) at 4 PM.
