Bolivar, Mo. - On Thursday evening, the Bearcat Women's Soccer Team hosted the #11 Quincy Hawks. The loss gives the Bearcats a record of 0-1 (0-0 MIAA) to begin the season. 

Southwest Baptist began very strong offensively, getting off 4 shots on goal within the first 18 minutes. The Bearcats also played very well defensively. Both teams were held scoreless until the 79 minute mark, when Quincy was able to knock a header into the goal. The Hawks out-shot the Bearcats 20-8, 10 shots on goal for Quincy, and 4 shots on goal for Southwest Baptist.

The SBU Women's Soccer Team will be back in action on Sunday September 2 when they travel to Kirksville, MO to take on Truman State.
