Stephenville, TX - On Saturday August 25th, the Bearcat Volleyball Team fought hard against Harding University and Black Hills State University, but couldn't come out on top. The losses bring their record to 0-4 on the year.

In game one, SBU took on Harding University at 9 AM. The Bearcats lost 25-9 in the first set, 25-20 in the second, and 25-20 in the third. Greysen Roster again led the Bearcats with 7 kills and Dana Neal and Bailey Baumann both collected team high 8 digs each. Makenzie Bouse finished the match with 15 assists. 

The Bearcats took on Black Hills State at 2 PM and hung tight with the Yellow Jackets, but fell 25-23 in the first, 25-23 in the second, and 25-18 in the third. Emily Thompson led the kills category for SBU with 8 and Makenzie Bouse collected another 16 assists. Bailey Baumann led both teams with 16 digs. 

Southwest Baptist Volleyball will be back in action on Friday, August 31st taking on Mississippi College and Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR.
