Hays, KS - Southwest Baptist University Women's Tennis won their last conference match to Fort Hays by a final score of 8-1.
In doubles, the Bearcats started strong and swept all three doubles to take the lead 3-0. In singles, Klara Vickov managed to beat her opponent on court #2 in two straight sets, which put SBU up 4-0 and one point away from winning the match. Lucia Diaz clinched her match and gave the Bearcats the victory point by winning her match in two straight sets. Constanca Crespo, Sarah Brown, and Jill Van den Dungen extended the victory with three more points to make the score 8-0 SBU. The Tigers got their sole point on court #6 by winning in two straight sets.
Women's Tennis will face Drury on Tuesday, April 10th at home at 2:00 PM.
