Kearney, NE - Southwest Baptist Men's Tennis won their last regular season conference match over Nebraska Kearney. The Bearcats moved their record to 15-2 (5-0 MIAA).
In doubles, the Gyorgy and Ferenc Agoston after being down 3-0 in doubles #1, managed to come back and break their opponents on 4-4 to give SBU the first point of the match. The Lopers tied up the score by winning on court #3 8-4. Raul Caballero and Torben Semrau also fought back from a 3-0 deficit to win their doubles 8-6, giving SBU the lead 2-1 after doubles. In singles, the Bearcats swept all six singles in two straight sets to make the final score 8-1 SBU.
After beating Nebraska Kearney, SBU finished the MIAA regular season undefeated (5-0) and won the the regular season MIAA Championship.
Men's Tennis will be back in action at home on Tuesday, April 10 to face Drury.
