Lincoln, Neb. - Southwest Baptist lost a close match 5-3 in the semifinal of the MIAA Championship to Central Oklahoma on Tuesday night.
In doubles, Jill Van den Dungen and KlaraVickov won on court #1 and gave SBU the lead. Constanca Crespo and Lucia Diaz added another point by winning their doubles match on court #2. The Bronchos got their first point by beating SBU's doubles #3. 

In singles, Central Oklahoma tied up the total score at 2-2 by winning on court #3 in two straight sets. The Bronchos took the lead for the first time and beat Klara Vickov in singles #2 in the third set. Van den Dungen managed to win her match at singles #1 in the final set 6-3 to tie the overall match at 3-3. However, UCO clinched the match by winning on court #6 and #4 to make the final score 5-3 Bronchos. 

Southwest Baptist Women's Tennis will be back in action for the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Bearcats will find out their matchup on Tuesday, April 24th.
