The rally started when Andrew Meier singled up the middle. He would then be followed up by Hunter Hisky who also singled. This allowed Meier to move up to second base. After Hisky's base hit, Schwettmann singled to right field to score Meier and move Hisky up to third base still with two outs in the inning. After Schwettmann stole second, Jack hit a ground-rule double to right field, scoring both Hisky and Schwettmann to help the Bearcats take their first lead of the game.Â
