Indianapolis, IN - The Southwest Baptist Women's Tennis team beat Lewis University by a final score of 6-3.

In doubles, the Bearcats started the competition up 1-0 since Lewis forfeited doubles #3. The Flyers fought hard in doubles and got the other two points by winning doubles #1 and #2.

In singles, SBU also received two additional points since Lewis didn't have singles #5 and #6. Constanca Crespo got SBU one point away from winning this match by beating her opponent on singles #4 in two straight sets. Lucia Diaz got the decisive point by winning her match on singles #3 6-4, 6-4. Lewis managed to beat SBU's singles #1 in two straight sets. Klara Vickov extended the winning margin for SBU by defeating her opponent in singles #2 in the third set 6-4 to make the final score 6-3 SBU.

Women's Tennis will play against #8 University of Indianapolis on Wednesday, March 21st at 5PM.
