Wichita Falls, Texas – Women's Tennis continued their second game this season and defeated higher ranked Midwestern State by an exciting score of 5-4.
 
Starting with doubles, the Mustangs captured their first point by winning their third doubles. In number two doubles, Constanca Crespo and Lucia Diaz managed to fight back after losing 5-2, but they fell short 8-6. Jill Van Den Dungen and Klara Vickov won their doubles giving the first point to SBU. The score after doubles was 2-1 Mustangs.

In singles, Midwestern State extended their lead by winning number 1 singles. The Bearcats got their second point by Crespo in two straight sets. Van Den Dungen had an amazing come back after losing 3-0 in the third set and won her match to tie the total score 3-3. Vickov got the fourth point for SBU after winning her match in the third set 6-1. The Bearcats got their fifth point needed by Sarah Brown to win this competition in two straight sets.

Women Tennis will face Cameron University Saturday, March 3 hoping for another win.
