Wichita Falls, Texas – SBU Mens Tennis kept their winning streak by defeating Midwestern State by a score of 6-3.
 
Starting with doubles, they were very close. The Mustangs won their doubles at numbers three and one, which led them to take the lead 2-0. Raul Caballero and Torben Semrau won their doubles avoiding Midwestern State sweeping SBU in doubles, which made the score 2-1 for the Mustangs after doubles.
 
In singles, the Mustangs came out strong by winning their third point from their number three singles. Sherif Abohabaga kept his winning streak in singles and won his singles 6-3 6-3. After being down a set, Caballero managed to come back and win his match. Southwest Baptist was now tying with Midwestern State in the total score of 3-3. After a marathon match, Ferenc Agoston beat his opponent in a close tiebreaker (7-5). Senior Semrau continues his strong performance to give the victory to SBU by winning his singles. Gyorgy Agoston added another point to the Bearcats to make the final score 6-3 SBU.
 
The Bearcats will face Cameron University on Saturday, March 3rd hoping to keep their winning streak.
