Tulsa, Ok - Women Tennis started their first game in their season against Southeastern Oklahoma State, who defeated the Bearcats in the decisive match to go to National last season. The Bearcats got a good start by sweeping all the doubles and lead 3-0. 

In singles, Jill Van Den Dungen finished first and got an extra point for SBU to be one point away to win the game. Constanca Crespo fought back from losing 5-4 in the first set and managed to save 3 set points. She clinched her match in two straight sets 7-5 6-4. Klara Vickov and Sarah Brown gave the Bearcats 2 extra points after winning their matches in 2 straight sets.The Bearcats won this competition by a 7-2 score.

Women Tennis will face Midwestern State in Texas next Thursday March 1st, hoping for their second victory this season.
