Tulsa, Ok – SBU Mens Tennis kept their winning streak by defeating Southeastern Oklahoma State by an exciting score of 5-4.
 
Starting with doubles, Raul Caballero and Torben Semrau finished first by a score of 8-1. Southeastern caught up with their first point by winning their doubles 1 to tie the game. IN the last double, Sherif Abohabaga and Marcel Castillo got SBU the lead by winning their doubles 3 8-4.
 
In singles, Abohabaga gave SBU another point to make the score 3-1. Gyorgy Agoston, in his first singles competition, extended the SBU lead to 4-1 after winning his match in two straight sets 6-0 6-3. Southeastern Oklahoma State tried to come back in the game by winning their 3 and 4 singles to make the score 4-3 Bearcats. Senior Semrau clinched his match for SBU by winning in two close sets 7-5 7-5. Mens Tennis won this competition by a 5-4 score.
 
The Bearcats will head on the road facing Midwestern State Thursday March 1^st, hoping to keep their winning streak.
