Bolivar, Mo. - Mouliom is one of four Bearcats that totaled double digits as SBU beats UCM 72-62. The win moves the Bearcats record to 3-3 (1-0 MIAA).
 
SBU came out the gate fast as their first points were scored on an alley-oop by 
Karim Mouliom assisted by 
Chris Rossow. SBU would then hit threes by Mouliom, 
Godfrey Rolle, and 
Damian Prgomet and took an 13-4 lead going into the first media timeout of the first half.
 
SBU with 5:05 left in the first half would get their lead to 23-12 after free throws by 
Adnan Jahic, but from this point on till halftime UCM would go on a 16-5 run and would tie the game 28-28 at halftime.  
 
Before the second half started UCM took the lead due to a technical foul that happened as the first half ended, from this point SBU and UCM would trade baskets for a majority of the second half until about 2:00 left in the game this is where the game changed in the Bearcats favor.
 
SBU took a 59-58 lead after two free throws by Mouliom then after a stop on defense 
Quinn Nelson gave SBU a 62-58 lead with 1:47 left in the game, this then caused UCM to take a timeout. After the timeout, SBU would finish the game on a 10-4 run and win 72-62.
 
Four Bearcats finished with double-digit points, 
Karim Mouliom had 19, 
Godfrey Rolle had 13, 
Chris Rossow added 12 points to go along with 7 assists, and Damian Progmet added 11 points.
 
As a team, SBU shot 40.7% from the field and 69.7% from the free throw line, the Bearcats also forced the Mules into 19 turnovers.
 
SBU will be back in action on Saturday, December 1st at 1:30 as the Bearcats face Ecclesia College.
