Bolivar, Mo. - The Bearcat Volleyball Team hosted Emporia State Friday evening. SBU fell to the Hornets 3-0. The loss brings the Bearcats to 4-17 (0-8 MIAA) on the season.

Emporia State took the first set by a score of 25-17. The Bearcats battled hard in the second set, but couldn't come out on top, falling 25-23. The Hornets also took the third set 25-16. Giselle Ibarra and Greysen Roster each collected 7 kills. Makenzie Bouse led the assists colum for both teams with 20, and Bailey Baumann finished with 11 digs.

The Bearcats play at home again tomorrow, taking on #9 Washburn at 2 PM. Immediately following the match, the volleyball team will host their Bearcat Cub Clinic.
