Bolivar, Mo. - The Pittsburg State Gorillas visited Bolivar Saturday evening, defeating the Bearcats 3-0. SBU moves to 4-23 (0-14 MIAA) on the season. 

The first set was won by Pitt State 25-14. The second set was very back and forth, the two teams trading points up until it was 22-22. The Gorillas pulled ahead 24-22, SBU scored another, but PSU gained the 25th point, resulting in a 25-23 set win for PSU. The third set was very similar, however, this set was even closer. The set was tied up at 24 points for each team, when Pitt State got the next two points, giving them the set win 26-24, and the match win. Senior Dana Neal led the Bearcats in kills, finishing with 8 on the night. Makenzie Bouse recored 11 assists, and senior Brea Freeman recorded 9 assists. Two seniors had double digit digs, Bailey Baumann had 12 and Dana Neal finished with 10. 

The match concludes the Volleyball Team's home games for 2018, but they will play again on the road on October 26 at 7:30 PM when they take on Missouri Western.
