Kirksville, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University men's soccer team fell on the road at Truman on Tuesday evening 4-0. With the loss the Bearcats fall to 0-2 on the season.
Truman jumped out early, scoring their first goal of the afternoon in the 10th minute of play before taking a 2-0 lead into the break. The Bulldogs would add two more goals over the final 45 minutes as SBU would fall 4-0.
Jaydon Charles led the Bearcats with two shot attempts, while in goal
Matt Garza collected 9 saves in the loss.
SBU will return to action on Sunday, September 10 for their home opener against Rogers State. Play is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. from Plaster Stadium in Bolivar.
