Joplin, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team fell at Missouri Southern on Tuesday evening 3-0. With the loss the Bearcats drop to 2-14 (1-2 MIAA) on the season.
The Bearcats fell in set one 25-22, set two 25-17, and set three 25-19.
Katie Robinson led the attack with a team high 10 kills, followed by
Dana Neal's 9 kills, and
Mikhaela Cochran chipped in 8.
Brea Freeman handled the setting duties, collecting 32 assists, while
Bailey Baumann had 20 digs while Neal and
Whitney Johnson both added 11 digs in the loss.
SBU will continue their three-game road trip on Friday, September 29 when they travel to Northwest Missouri. Play is set to begin at 7:00 p.m. from Maryville, Missouri.
