Edmond, Okla. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team fell against Oklahoma Baptist and East Central in the opening day of the GAC/MIAA Crossover.

In the opening match of the day the Bearcats fell to Oklahoma Baptist 25-23, 25-22, and 25-14 while falling 25-14, 25-20, and 25-23 to East Central in their second match of the day. Katie Robinson and Dana Neal led the Bearcats with 6 kills each, while Brea Freeman had 16 assists and Bailey Baumann had 11 digs in the loss to OBU. Stats were not available for the match against ECU.

The Bearcats will return to action on Saturday, September 16 for the final day of the GAC/MIAA Crossover from Bethany, Oklahoma.
