Durant, Okla. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team fell at the hands of Southeastern Oklahoma State on Tuesday afternoon 5-2. The Bearcats finish their season with a 19-4 record.
Southwest Baptist fell behind early, trailing 2-1 after doubles play. The doubles team of
Lara Soares and
Lani Tuemmers picked up the victory at the no. 1 position 8-5. In singles play, SBU received a point from
Klara Vickov at the no. 4 position, but were unable to claim any other singles matches before SE picked up their fifth point as SBU fell 5-2.
