Hunter Hisky broke the SBU single season hits record on Friday, but the Bearcats fell to Northwest Missouri 6-4 to be eliminated from the MIAA Postseason Tournament.

Nelson Muniz singled to left field to load the bases.
Jovany Urbieta then hit a two-RBI single through the right side to put SBU on top 2-0. After a scoreless second inning, the Bearcats went back to work in the top of the third. With one out and Hisky on first, Murley sacrificed Hisky to second before Muniz hit an RBI double to right field to extend the lead to 3-0. Northwest Missouri answered with five runs in the third and another in the fifth to take a 6-3 lead after five. SBU was able to get one run back in the top of the eighth off of an RBI fielder's choice from
Chance Wolfe, but it wasn't enough as SBU fell 6-4.
The Bearcats finish the season 30-21, marking the most single season and MIAA wins in program history.
