Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team picked up an 8-1 victory over Fort Hays State on Sunday afternoon to conclude regular season play. The Bearcats finish the regular season 16-2 (8-1 MIAA) and are riding a 7-game win streak.
The Bearcats started strong against the visiting Tigers, sweeping doubles play.

Beatrix Federer earned an 8-4 victory at #3 to finish the clean sweep. SBU then received singles victories from Soares, Diaz, Vickov, Brown, and
Zorana Jovanovic to finish off FHSU 8-1.
SBU will now await the announcement of the bracket for the MIAA Tournament where SBU has earned the #2 seed. The MIAA Tournament will run from April 18-20 from Lincoln, Nebraska.
