Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University men's tennis team completed a season sweep over #39 Ouachita Baptist on Thursday afternoon with a 7-2 victory. The Bearcats finish the regular season with an 11-3 record.

The Bearcats started things off by taking two of three doubles points, with Sherif Abohabaga/Chris Blodig and Torben Semrau/Raul Cabalero each picking up 8-6 decisions. SBU then dominated singles play, taking five of the six singles points in straight sets. In the end the Bearcats defeated the Tigers 7-2.

SBU will be back in action on Wednesday, April 19 for the opening round of the MIAA Tournament where they will take on #35 Washburn at 8:00 a.m. from Lincoln, Nebraska.
