SBU Baseball Hosts Central Missouri & Northwest Missouri this Week

 - The Southwest Baptist University baseball team returns home for a four-game homestand by hosting Central Missouri on Tuesday, and Northwest Missouri on Thursday-Saturday.

Scouting Southwest Baptist
The Bearcats return to action on Tuesday with a 21-9 (11-7 MIAA) record on the season and have won six straight MIAA games. Offensively SBU is led by Hunter Hisky who is leading the MIAA in average (.415) and doubles (15), while ranking 2nd in the MIAA in RBI (42) and slugging percentage (.737). Jovany Urbieta and Sean Murley both lead the Bearcats in homeruns with 6, while Caleb Sneed has a team leading 33 runs scored. On the mound Chance Wolfe is 5-0 with a 1.93 ERA to go along with 5 saves, while out of the rotation Drew Wagner holds a 3.57 ERA with 34 strikeouts across 40.1 innings.

Scouting Central Missouri
Central Missouri enters the game against Southwest Baptist 22-11 (13-8 MIAA) on the season. The Mules are led offensively by Justin Graff-Rows who is hitting .441 with 35 runs scored, while Collin Nevil has hit a team high 11 homeruns to go along with a team high 37 runs batted in. On the mound Steven D'Amico is 4-1 with a 2.47 ERA while Zach Girrens is 4-0 with a 2.68 ERA.

Northwest Missouri enters the week 24-10 (13-8 MIAA) on the season. The Bearcats are led in average by Garrett Fort who is hitting .331 and is one of five NWMSU players hitting over .300. Luke Hassman and Jay Hrdlicka both have a team leading 6 homeruns, while Ozzie Adams has knocked in a team high 29 runners.
