Kansas City, Mo. - For the second consecutive week SBU's Sherif Abohabaga has been named the MIAA Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week.

Sherif Abohabaga led the SBU Bearcats to a 2-0 week, including a victory over #15 Midwestern State. Abohabaga was a perfect 4-0 on the week at #1 singles and #1 doubles. Abohabaga took down the #5 ranked player in the NCAA in straight sets, while also picking up a straight sets victory against Rockhurst. The junior is a native of Cairo, Egypt.
