Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team got back on the winning track with a 7-2 victory over Rockhurst on Sunday afternoon. With the win the Bearcats improve to 7-1 on the season.

SBU opened up play with doubles points from Lara Soares/Lani Tuemmers, Lucia Diaz/Klara Vickov, and Sarah Brown/Beatrix Federer all collecting victories. In singles play Diaz, Vickov, Brown, and Federer helped the Bearcats finish off Rockhurst 7-2.

The Bearcats will return to action on Friday, March 10 when they host Lindenwood in SBU's MIAA opener. Play is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. from the John Bryant Tennis Complex in Bolivar.
