Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team came up just short against #21 Midwestern State on Saturday, 5-4. With the loss SBU falls to 6-1 on the season.
The Bearcats kicked things off by taking #1 doubles, put would be trailing 2-1 heading into singles play. The Bearcats received singles points from
Lara Soares,
Klara Vickov, and Sarah Brown, put it wasn't enough as SBU would fall 5-4.
SBU will return to action on Sunday, March 5 when they host Rockhurst from the
John Bryant Tennis Complex in Bolivar.
