Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University men's tennis team remained undefeated with a 7-2 victory over #15 Midwestern State on Saturday. With the win SBU improves to 4-0 on the season.
The Bearcats kicked things off with a sweep at doubles, with
Sherif Abohabaga/
Chris Blodig, Ferenc Agosoton/Marcell Castillo, and
Torben Semrau and
Raul Cabalero all picked up wins. Abohabaga took down the #5 singles player in the nation in straight sets while Agoston, Semrau, and Castillo all picked up singles wins in the team victory.
SBU will return to action Sunday, March 5 when they host Rockhurst. Play is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. from the
John Bryant Tennis Center in Bolivar.
