Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University baseball team will step out of MIAA action on Wednesday when they travel to Truman State before returning home for a three-game series against Lindenwood beginning on Saturday.
Scouting the Bearcats
The Bearcats return to action on Wednesday with a 14-8 (5-7 MIAA) record on the season. Offensively SBU is led byÂ
Hunter Hisky who is hitting .434 with a team leading 12 doubles and a .495 on base percentage.Â
Jovany Urbieta leads the Bearcats in homeruns (5), runs batted in (30), and slugging percentage (.658) while hitting .380 on the year.

Scouting the Bulldogs
Truman State comes into the game against Southwest Baptist 7-13 (0-0 GLVC) on the season. The Bulldogs are led offensively by Jason Priest who is hitting a team high .380 while also leading the team in rbi at 20. Brendan Trimble has scored a team leading 19 runs, while Chris Iliopoulos has hit 7 homeruns on the season. On the mound Bryan Clark is 2-2 with a 3.38 ERA.
Scouting the Lions
Lindenwood comes into the week 15-9 (8-4 MIAA) on the season. The Lions are led offensively by Drew Quinones who is hitting a team high .407. Wes Degener has scored a team leading 24 runs while Kyle Teter has knocked in a team high 25 runners this season. On the mound Brendan Feldmann has a 2.50 ERA to go along with a 2-0 record and 52 strikeouts in 39.2 innings, while Blake Beckamnn is 5-1 with a 3.76 ERA.
