Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team picked up a 9-0 victory over Emporia State on Monday, improving to 10-2 (3-1 MIAA) on the season.

The Bearcats jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead after sweeping doubles play. SBU then continued their dominant victory, with Lara Soares, Lani Tuemmers, Lucia Diaz, Klara Vickov, Sarah Brown, and Beatrix Federer all picking up straight set singles victories to cruise to a 9-0 win.

SBU will continue play on Wednesday, March 22 when they travel to William Woods in a break from MIAA action. Play is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. from Fulton, Missouri.
