Edmond, Okla. - The Southwest Baptist University women's tennis team picked up their second MIAA victory of the season on Saturday, taking down Central Oklahoma 6-3. With the win the Bearcats improve to 9-1 (2-0 MIAA) on the season.

The Bearcats jumped ahead early with a clean sweep of the Bronchos in doubles play. Lara Soraes/Lani Tuemmers, Lucia Diaz/Klara Vickov, and Sarah Brown/Beatrix Federer all picked up victories in doubles play. SBU then finished off UCO with singles victories from Diaz, Vickov, and Brown as they picked up the 6-3 team victory.

SBU will quickly return to action on Sunday, March 19 when they travel to #10 Northeastern State. Play is set to begin at 11:00 a.m. from Tahlequah, Oklahoma.
