Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University men's tennis team improved to 6-0 (1-0 MIAA) on the season with an 8-1 victory over Lindenwood on Saturday afternoon.
The Bearcats kicked things off in doubles play with victories from Ferenc Agoston/
Marcel Castillo and
Raul Cabalero/
Torben Semrau as SBU held a 2-1 lead going into singles play. SBU then had a clean sweep in singles, picking up straight set victories at each position, as they cruised to the 8-1 team win.
SBU will return to action on Wednesday, March 15 when they travel to Fort Smith, Arkansas for a neutral site match against #17 Southeastern Oklahoma. Play is set to begin at 1:00 p.m.
