Bolivar, Mo. - Southwest Baptist will return home on Thursday to host Missouri Southern. The Bearcats have four of their final six games at home to close out the regular season.
The Coaches & The All-Time Series
SBU head coach
Kelsey Keizer in her third season on the Bearcat bench after leading SBU to their first winning season in 9 years (16-13, 11-11 MIAA) last season. The 11 MIAA wins also marks the second most conference wins in program history. Coach Keizer holds a career coaching record of 27-31, including a 15-26 mark in the MIAA.
Ronnie Ressel begins his 1st full season as the interim head women's basketball at Missouri Southern. Prior to being named interim head coach, Ressel spent three years as an assistant with the women's program.
Missouri Southern leads the all-time series against Southwest Baptist 43-22. The Bearcats claimed a 65-52 victory over the Lions in their last meeting, last season in Bolivar.

The Bearcats enter the game against Missouri Southern 13-9 (5-8 MIAA) and are coming off of a 76-73 victory at #8 Central Oklahoma. SBU is led in scoring by
Megan Rosenbohm who is averaging 16.9 ppg while
Caylee Richardson averages 11.3 ppg, and a team high 7.3 rpg.
Alex Botkin dishes out a team high 3.0 apg, while

Missouri Southern enters the game against Southwest Baptist 11-11 (6-7 MIAA) on the season. The Lady Lions are coming off of a 77-62 loss to #11 Pittsburg State. Missouri Southern is led in scoring by Deb Holcomb who averages 16.2 ppg, while Desirea Buerge averages 12.0 ppg and 6.2 rpg and Chelsey Henry averages 10.1 ppg. As a team MSSU shoots 42.9% from the field, 36.1% from beyond the arc, 74.9% from the line, and average 73.3 ppg.
