Bolivar, Mo. - Southwest Baptist closes out the regular season on Saturday by hosting Nebraska-Kearney, with MIAA Tournament seeding on the line.
The Coaches & The All-Time Series
SBU head coach
Kelsey Keizer is in her third season on the Bearcat bench after leading SBU to their first winning season in 9 years (16-13, 11-11 MIAA) last season. The 11 MIAA wins also marks the second most conference wins in program history. Coach Keizer holds a career coaching record of 27-31, including a 15-26 mark in the MIAA.
Carrie Eighmey begins her 2nd season as the head coach at Nebraska-Kearney. Eighmey holds a career collegiate coaching record of 84-45, incluidng a 16-14 mark at UNK.
Southwest Baptist leads the all-time series against Nebraska-Kearney 4-3. The Bearcats claimed a 65-62 victory over the Lopers earlier this season in Kearney.
Scouting the Bearcats
The Bearcats enter the game against Nebraska-Kearney 15-12 (7-11 MIAA) and are coming off of a 74-48 loss to Fort Hays State. SBU is led in scoring by
Megan Rosenbohm who is averaging 16.2 ppg while
Caylee Richardson averages 11.3 ppg, and a team high 7.1 rpg.

Nebraska-Kearney enters the game against Southwest Baptist 11-15 (7-11 MIAA) on the season, and are coming off of a 64-53 loss at Fort Hays State after winning their previous four games. UNK is led in scoring by Michaela Barry who averages 14.7 ppg, while McKenzie Brown is also in double-figures at 12.0 ppg. Courtney Aitken pulls down a team high 6.7 rpg, while Alexa Hogberg dishes out 3.5 apg. As a team the Lopers shoot 38.9% from the field, 30.7% from beyond the arc, 72.3% from the line, and average 63.8 ppg.
