Box Score Bolivar, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team closed out their home portion of the 2017 season with a 3-0 loss to Missouri Western on Saturday. With the loss the Bearcats fall to 2-28 (1-15 MIAA) on the season.

SBU dropped the first set 25-14, the second 25-11, and the third 25-16. The Bearcats were led in kills by Delanie Tipton with 6, while Brea Freeman collected 11 assists and Ashley DeWees had 10 assists. Defensively Bailey Baumann had a team high 5 digs while DeWees chipped in 4.

The Bearcats will hit the road on Thursday, November 9 when they travel to Lindenwood. Play is set to begin at 6:00 p.m. from St. Charles, Missouri.
