St. Charles, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University men's soccer team fell 5-0 to Lindenwood on Friday afternoon, dropping to 1-15 (1-6 MIAA) on the season.
After 27 minutes of scoreless play, Lindenwood got on the scoreboard in the 28th minute to break the tie. The Lions added another goal in the 36th minute as Southwest Baptist went into the half trailing 2-0. The Bearcats would allow three more goals during the final 45 minutes of the contest as SBU would fall 5-0. In goal Matt Garza collected 8 saves in the loss.
The Bearcats will conclude their 2017 season when they travel to Upper Iowa on Sunday, November 5. Play is set to begin at 12:00 p.m. from Fayette, Iowa.
