St. Charles, Mo. - The Southwest Baptist University volleyball team took set two 25-23, but would ultimately fall 3-1 on the road to Lindenwood. With the loss the Bearcats fall to 2-18 (1-6 MIAA) on the season.

The Bearcats fell in set one 25-10 before bouncing back to take set two 25-23. However the Bearcats would drop set three 25-19 and set four 25-11 as they would fall 3-1 in the match. Dana Neal collected a team high 11 kills, while Mikhaela Cochran and Bailey Baumann each prouduced 12 digs in the contest and Brea Freeman had 26 assists in the loss.

SBU will continue their four-game road trip when they travel to Washburn on Friday, October 13. Play is set to begin 7:00 p.m. from Topeka, Kansas.
